Jesus Fellowship senior leader, Victor Shefford, spoke at the recent Multiply Nigeria Leaders Conference and Reports on a successful visit despite the chaos of a general strike.

Amidst violent demonstrations connected with the general strike in Lagos, which saw 16 people killed by the police, the second Multiply Nigeria Leaders Conference was a time of blessing and power.

Amazingly, around 120 people attended, from 25 different churches, overcoming the food shortages, demonstrations and empty petrol filling stations. The theme of the day was 'The Church. In the Nations' and contributions came from several of the Multiply Nigeria churches.

Overall it was a time of bonding and deepening friendships that have been built up over the past 12 years, as well as an opportunity to bring some support and direction to the 'mother' Glad Tidings Church.

Newsflash

We were blessed to receive news about growth and progress with the work in South Africa. This is an extract from Jan Ellis, our apostolic man there, based in Durban:

"It is indeed both an honour and joy to be part of the Multiply Network and to be involved with AMEN as the Multiply Network is evolving and growing to be a global church network. There are so many church leaders out there that try do it on their own, but struggle without the support they need so much, and are spiritual orphans. Multiply Network not only offers brotherhood covenant relationships that are vital, but also has the infrastructure to support with training and apostolic guidance."
